Washing

Cashmere and merino wool don’t need frequent washing. Simply let your pieces breathe between wears and wash only when truly necessary. If you notice a small stain, treat the affected area directly rather than washing the entire garment.

When it is time to wash, always use a gentle wool detergent. Hand washing is ideal, but you can also use the machine on a cold, delicate cycle with a dedicated wool program. Avoid spinning, as it may damage the fibers.

Drying

After washing, lay your knitwear flat on a clean towel to dry. This helps maintain the natural shape of the garment. Hanging can cause stretching and distortion, while tumble drying will shrink and damage the fibers.

Maintenance

It’s natural for cashmere and wool to develop some pilling, especially in areas exposed to friction. This is a normal part of the fiber’s life and can be easily removed with a lint remover or a velvet brush. We do recommend wool comb. Over time and after a few washes, pilling will reduce.

For brushed cashmere pieces, use our soft wool brush to keep the surface smooth. To refresh your knits, a light steam after de-pilling will restore softness and a crisp appearance.

Storage

Fold your knitwear neatly and store it flat on a shelf or in a drawer. Avoid hanging, as it can stretch and distort the shape. Make sure garments aren’t packed too tightly, as this can cause unwanted creases.
